These cheese crisps couldn’t be easier and make the perfect garnish for soups or salads. Very easy to make and can be prepared in advance. make sure they are totally cool before you store them in covered containers.
Make first mounds of grated parmesan cheese on paper lined baking trays. Spread them slightly with a spoon and make sure you space them apart. They will spread while baking. It takes about 12-13 minutes in a 200 C oven to become golden and crisp. Don’t over-bake as they may taste bitter.
They will be soft when they come out of the oven but they will harden in a minute. So, don’t rush to take them out of the pan. Use a spatula to remove and cool on a wire rack.
