Ingredients
  

For the cake

  • 250 grams butter unsalted
  • 500 ml milk whole milk
  • 400 grams sugar granulated
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 100 grams cocoa powder
  • 900 grams of biscuits

For the chocolate coating

  • 250 grams chocolate couverture
  • 250 grams cream
  • 50 grams butter unsalted

Instructions
 

Prepare the cake

  • Crush the biscuits in a large bowl. Mix the butter, milk, sugar, vanilla and cocoa over a low heat.
  • Stir until the mixture is lump-free and uniform.
  • Pour the mixture over the cookies. Mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into a 23 or 20 cm cake pan after covering it with non-stick paper or plastic wrap.

Preparing the coating

  • Melt the chocolate in a bain marie and allow it to cool.
  • Beat the butter and icing sugar in a mixer until light and fluffy. Add the melted chocolate (once cooled but still runny) and beat to combine. Cover the cake and make shapes with a piping bag.
