Oven fried chicken wings with blue cheese sauce

The BEST, crunchiest oven fried chicken. So much healthier than fried, just as delicious and guilt free! You can try different cuts of chicken but I am a fan of wings.

- 1 kg chicken wings
- 2 tsp sea salt
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 4 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp Cayenne pepper
- 6 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3-4 large eggs
- 1 heaped tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 cups approx. panko breadcrumbs
- 4 Tbsp olive oil
For the blue cheese dip:
- 100 grams of blue cheese
- 100 grams of sour cream
- 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
Preheat the oven to 200° C fan. Mix the spices with the flour in a bowl. Put the wings in a bowl and mix with the spices and flour. Shake the bowl until the flour is coated.
Lightly beat the eggs in a bowl and mix in the mustard.
In another bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs with the olive oil.
Dip the wings first in the egg and then in the bread crumbs. Place them on a grill over a baking tray. Bake for 40 minutes until crispy and golden. Serve with the blue cheese dip.
To make the dip, smash blue cheese with a fork and mix in the mayo and sour cream.
