Miso Glazed Salmon with Quinoa Salad and Toasted Nori Leaves

miso-salmon-2Nobu Restaurant’s most famous dish is probably “Black Cod”. It’s an incredibly delicious, almost addictive, miso glazed fish. It’s sweet and savoury, sticky and flavourful. The quality of the fish is of course of great importance and since black cod is not readily available at my fishmonger’s, I decided to try my luck with a fat fillet of gorgeous salmon. Quick, Easy and Delicious Chicken Curry

This is one of those “curry days”. It’s cold and windy outside, the kind of weather you crave a plate of spicy, creamy curry. I saw this lovely Indian chef on Food Network once, Nisha Katona, who created a wonderful curry, in what seemed like 5 minutes. She had everything gathered near the stove of course. Slow Roasted Chicken in Coconut Milk

Simply amazing. One of the tastiest, oven roasted chicken dishes ever. The bird slowly roasts in a coconut milk bath, flavored with lemon grass, garlic and ginger. The result is a moist and incredibly flavorful dish, with a wickedly good, slightly spicy sauce you will want to eat with a spoon. Make sure you will butterfly your chicken to maximize the amount of meat submerged in the sauce. Slow roasting is the key here as a higher temperature may burn the coating. Make this today. Roasted Chicken with Rosé Wine and Cherry Tomatoes

Roasted chicken must be one of the easiest family meals but, oh so ordinary. Some nice, fruity rosé wine, cherry tomatoes and fresh thyme, transform an ordinary dish into something extraordinary.
