If I may reply to the above lady, Susanna or to any Cypriot follower of yours, there is an excellent book on traditional Cypriot cuisine by Φωτεινη Ευαγγελατου “Ξεχασμένες Νοστιμιές του Κυπριακού Χωριού”. The recipes also mention the origin of the recipe and how the tradition of making it started. I have bought this book at least 3 times for relatives in Oz.
