You don’t really need a big intro for this one right? Two words: Cheesecake, Nutella. If you are not yet convinced, let me just tell you that these bars taste like a creamy brownie with the nicest crunch from the hazelnut crust. Also, you can bake and eat these in one hour tops. Although you should allow for cooling time. At least the first time. There will be many more. Continue reading
Want something delicious, simple and foolproof for the festive table? Make a chestnut chocolate tart. In the past, just the word “tart” used to be the reason to avoid a recipe and stick to the good old cheesecake. But since I started applying cookie crusts to my tarts, a whole new world of deserts unfolded before me. No blind baking, no resting time, no dough rolling, no chilling time. Just you and your blender. Continue reading
When I first posted this recipe on Instagram, I was hopelessly trying to find an emoji that best matched the delicious taste of this iced dessert. When I made this for the TV show Chryses Syntages, our show producer couldn’t stop until he ate half of this loaf. And when I made it as a birthday cake for my dad’s 94th birthday, my whole family (the toughest judges!) gave me raving reviews including my father who rarely eats dessert. Continue reading
All the satisfaction with a third of the guilt. Ok, so I added some cream. You can make this with 3 cups of yogurt and have zero guilt. But, hear me, this is nothing compared to the guilt that comes with motherhood. Plus, you are not going to eat the whole loaf (are you?)!
Summery, fresh, cool, gorgeous and light-ish, this yogurt panna cotta is your answer to summer cravings with less guilt. Yogurt replaces most of the cream in this take of the classic Italian dessert, making you look better in any calorie consumption discussion (I never talk about these things but in case you do…). It’s one of those easy desserts, the perfect ending to a summer dinner on the veranda. I never had “a thing” for cheesecakes but this one tastes more like a light and luscious strawberry mousse. The crust is chocolatey and in perfect harmony with the tanginess of the cheese and the berries. I used white chocolate for sweetness which is heavenly. This is so easy and delicious. It’s inevitable. Continue reading
No rolling, no blind baking, no fuss. This easy chocolate tart is your perfect dessert and chocolate fix. Deeply chocolatey, slightly boozy and so so easy! The crust is entirely done in the bowl of your food processor. Then instead of rolling, you will transfer the dough crumbs in a tart pan and press down with your hands to create the base and sides. So simple.
