Who can ever say no to this tasty wrap? If you are entertaining, it’s the perfect D.I.Y. party food. I usually put everything on a round table, so that guests can walk around it and serve themselves. Continue reading
This Mexican tomato salsa is the best accompaniment to fajitas and, yes, souvlaki (pork kebabs)!
- 1 kg fresh tomatoes, diced without the seeds
- 1 medium red onion, finely chopped
- ½ cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- Juice from ½ a lemon
- 1 green chili pepper, deseeded and finely chopped
Mix everything together in a small bowl. Keep covered in the fridge.
This is so good! Oven steamed Sea Bass flavored with ginger, soy and spring onions. Serve with steamed rice and you have a delicious, easy, healthy meal. The fish is steamed in the oven by using two baking pans, wrapped together with foil.

You can make this flatbread and serve it with a fragrant curry or use it as an alternative to pitta bread and wrap pieces of aromatic lamb shawarma, sprinkled with tahini. Honestly, it’s very easy to prepare and reheats wonderfully in the oven, wrapped in foil. Continue reading
At my house, we bake pizza once a week. I make a bucket of pizza dough and hand it out to my three boys and their play-dates, to play chef for a while. There is hardly any room left on the kitchen table from all the tiny bowls, filled with all sorts of toppings, and the air is hazy from all the flour flying around. Continue reading
